The beautiful Bulgarian term, 'Ailyak' describes the subtle art of doing everything calmly and without rushing, whilst enjoying the experience and life in general.
I found this to be the perfect term for this imperfect, slowly crafted and hand-carved piece.
Made from gorgeously rich Okanagan cherry wood, this budvase is playful while elegant. An organic, handcarved shape with a peek a boo hole that has been handcut and charred by burning.
Dimensions: 7.25 in (tall) x 7.5 in (wide) x 1.75 in (thick)
For stems (not included), the hole measures 6.5 inches deep.
This vase is not watertight and is intended for dried florals. Measurements are approximate. Finished with Walrus Oil; an all-natural, non-toxic and plant-based oil.
