I've had this piece of birch for a long time and it's one of the spaltiest pieces I've ever worked with. The colouration is so rich due to how far into the spalting process the wood is.
It has a beautiful bark inclusion and the pattern of the spalting varies throughout the vase, creating elements similar to a meteor shower or the milky way that you might see looking up into the night sky.

For stems (not included), the hole measures 5 in deep.
This vase is not watertight and is intended for dried florals. Measurements are approximate. Finished with an all-natural, non-toxic and plant-based oil.
