Edition no. 2 in The Sculpted Collection, 'Fuji' has been sculpted by free hand, sanded smooth then burnt and brushed using the traditional Japanese method of Yakisugi. The technique of burning raises the grains which truly accentuates the depth of this salvaged Douglas Fir vase. It only felt fitting that this piece be named after the famous volcano in Japan.
Dimensions: 16 inches tall x 6.5 inches at its widest.
For stems (not included), the hole measures 4 inches deep with the opening spanning 0.5 inches wide.
This vase is not watertight and is intended for dried florals. Measurements are approximate. Finished with an all-natural, non-toxic and plant-based oil.
