First Impression

A concept that if you could see all the events that a person had been through on your first meeting, imagine how that would change the meaning of 'first impressions'. Imagine how that might affect your perception of them.

An ode to 'Wabi Sabi', this birch budvase is asymmetrical in every way and everything that has happened in its lifetime is visible to the naked eye. From rough texturing, to a flame that softened its edges and darkened its original light wood, to the cracks that opened up from the heat and pressure of the fire.

Dimensions: 8.75" x 6.5" x 4.25" tall

This budvase has two holes for stems, one that measures 2" deep and a second hole that extends the total depth to 3.25". Due to the stoutness of the vase, the openings for stems are fairly shallow. This vase would be great for displaying short, dainty stems or used as a home decor object. 

This vases is not watertight and is intended for dried florals. Measurements are approximate. Finished with an all-natural, non-toxic and plant-based oil.
