An ode to the Italian volcano. Etna has been created in a modern brutalist style and designed to appear weathered. It has a combination of subtle sculpting and rippled texture, both of which allowing your mind to wander where lava might have flown.
The traditional Japanese technique of burning accentuates the depth of this salvaged Douglas Fir vase, allowing the grains to present themselves as a subdued yet welcome canvas to catch the light.
Finished on the bottom with a signature brass coin.
