Alpenglow is typically used to describe the pinky hue that's cast onto mountains when the sun has set behind the peaks but it hasn't dipped low enough that it can't still grace us with it's warmth.
However, there's just something about the way the light plays on the live edge of this salvaged maple that's beautifully reminiscent of those winter shadows at dusk.
