Although Cottonwoods are found throughout British Columbia [this one was foraged in Blue River, BC], they are rare on the outer coast of Vancouver Island. However, what you can find on the Canadian Pacific coast is year-round surfing. And it's these crystal clear albeit chilly waves that this piece is named after. Surf's up!
